Web Development

About

Web development is an ever growing field, of great interest to me. I have begun to grow and adapt my skills in web development as I create more and more websites as a student at university, and externally as a free lancer. I have a keen work ethic, taking pride and care with my work, and strive to continue to do so as a advance my skills and take on clients.

I also have a growing interest in design and graphics, which I have studied in the past and have continued to do so while working and attending university. Having a background in design and graphics allows me to further improve the design and visual appearance of the websites I build. In addition to this, I am studying in a Bachelor of Business degree which I believe helps me to connect with businesses and develop a more professional outcome.

So far, my official studies at university have furthered my knowledge of the essential elements of website development from design to implementation. Involving the use of media resources, program code, and the application of common structures and integration of multimedia elements. In addition to this, my studies have also involved the use of web standards and issues. Including; the accessibility, copyright, privacy, ethical and cultural issues related to website development.
